Lets set aside Tangled for a moment and appreciate another great Disney animated work of art. Princess and the Frog. I received and email form a woman who's son wanted dress as Prince Naveen on their trip to DisneyLand.

New Rapunzel Pictures

I finally took updated pictures of my Interpretation of Rapunzel (Tangled Style). It shows the modesty panel and the embroidery all the way around.

Where did Flynn go?

I keep on getting emails about "where are the pictures of the finished Flynn Rider costume?"

I have no idea where they went!

Finished Flynn

Finished Flynn vest...
And satchel.

Flynn's Jacket... Almost done!

I lined the jacket with a super lightweight quilt batting and super soft brown garment lining. Then sewed over thr chalk lines I mapped out using the pictures I have as a guide.

Now for the rivets and clasps

I purchased "jean rivets" for the studs on the shoulder/sleeves. I also decided on "Istanbul Clasps" for the front of the vest.

So far so good?

So I cut the vest pieces and cut additional pieces for the top front and back yoke.
Now I am using taylor's chalk to mark where I will stitch for the top stitching on the yoke and the bodice part.

Look-eee What I found!

Ok, its not exactly like Flynns vest, but with a bit of tweaking, its pretty darn close! Yay!

Updated Rapunzel Pictures - With the Modesty Panel

Here are the updated pictures of the Rapunzel Bodice to all of you out there that don't want everyone to see the goods, lol. I added snaps to the inside of the bodice and the panel so it can snap on and off. Yay!
