Finished Flynn vest...
And satchel.
I lined the jacket with a super lightweight quilt batting and super soft brown garment lining. Then sewed over thr chalk lines I mapped out using the pictures I have as a guide.
I purchased "jean rivets" for the studs on the shoulder/sleeves. I also decided on "Istanbul Clasps" for the front of the vest.
Here are pics of unfinished Flynn Vest front and back.
So I cut the vest pieces and cut additional pieces for the top front and back yoke.
Now I am using taylor's chalk to mark where I will stitch for the top stitching on the yoke and the bodice part.
Ok, its not exactly like Flynns vest, but with a bit of tweaking, its pretty darn close! Yay!
