Ahhhhh, the charming Flynn Rider. Now my favorite Disney Prince.
Along with the requests for the Rapunzel Costume I have been receiving, Flynn Rider is a close second.
I will be putting together the smoldering look of the fabulous Eugene Fitzherbert!
As for Flynn's look, I think the hard part of this WHOLE outfit is the clasps on his vest.
Take a look;
So, where, I ask, do I find these unusual specimens?

Ok, Ok, I found some that are super close...
Maybe I can find them with a square base... hmmmm
Here are the fabrics that I picked for Flynn.
White cotton weave for the shirt, plain weave brown linen type for the pant and a tealish blueish faux suede for the infamous vest.
If you look at most costume patterns for men, they only have the shirts. WHY???! After much-a-search, I am using McCalls 3789 for just the pant. It is a simple, pull on pant with seams down the side.
The shirt is a button up with a stand up collar. I am using a plain weave white cotton.
This pattern is Butterick 5002. I will be modifying it. Gonna lose the ruffles and ties.
I found this pattern! With a little tweaking, I think it is pretty close.
